(March 27, 2018)LeaseQ, the online marketplace for equipment financing, today welcomes former Ameriprise Financial Vice President of Investments Technology Jamshed Khan as its first chief technology officer. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services technology, Khan will lead LeaseQ’s development team and further expand the company’s marketplace platform to serve commercial equipment borrowers, vendors and lenders.

Prior to LeaseQ, Khan was head of solutions delivery and IT management practice of The Trieste Group, a financial services and technology firm providing high-end analytics, financial engineering and technology solutions. Before The Trieste Group, Khan was Vice President of Investments Technology at Ameriprise Financial (formerly American Express Financial Advisors). At Ameriprise, Jamshed provided leadership in developing and implementing technology for trading, portfolio management, quantitative services, risk management, CRM, data, application and infrastructure services for the asset management division of the company. Prior to joining American Express, he was Senior Vice President of Quantitative Investment Technology at Zurich Scudder/Deutsche Bank.

Jamshed is the Chief Technology Officer at LeaseQ. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services technology, he is responsible for developing LeaseQ’s technology and development teams. Jamshed has worked in various leadership roles in technology and business areas of investment management & trading. He has built large IT organizations and centers of excellence for implementing best practices in all aspects of IT management and developing processes and technology for portfolio management, research, trading, performance and risk analysis. He has worked as senior IT development manager with business acumen at some of the leading financial services firms like Fidelity Investments, Putnam Investments, Deutsche Bank, Wellington Management Company and GMO. He also had a two-year stint as a senior management consultant with several clients including U.S Department of Treasury. Jamshed holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics from University of Massachusetts at Boston and Master of Science degree in Nuclear Physics from University of Karachi, Pakistan.
